Online Shopping Resources

I do 99% of my horse shopping online, because

a) I don't have to talk to people
b) A lot of the local shops are not eventer-friendly, or far away
c) Nothing that fits normal people fits me anyways
d) Nothing that normal people like, I like (cough, all black jump tack cough)
e) I seriously hate paying shipping.

Without further ado, here are my favorite shops and any notes, favorites or other tips:

Bit of Britain -
Free shipping over 50$ is going right now (as of 4/13/16). This is RARE, take advantage of it!
BoB has a great Black Friday sale, and when they do put things on sale (relatively rare) the deals are rockin. They also have a ton of eventer friendly brands, custom items and, my favorite, shaped "euro" pads that fit my Vision. I have also taken advantage of their custom items and have been really happy with the products.

Riding Warehouse -
This site is a little more limited in depth of items (you won't find 60 options for a flash bridle or tons of variety to choose from), but their choices tend to be great ones so I don't miss the variety of other stores. They have a great sale section, and usually have a 15% discount going. US Rider also offers a 15% discount for them.

Adam's Horse Supplies -
I've bought from Adams for years. They generally have a good sale selection (though it has gotten slightly less good the past few years) and I generally go to them for end of season blanket and winter clothing closeouts.

VTO Saddlery -
These folks are the best! Highlight products for me include the PRI saddle covers (these are so nice!) and more Euro eventing pads. Their customer service was very nice and even put a saddle cover on the most forward saddle they had in store to see if it would fit my Vision. They have a nice mix of innovative products and traditional stuff, and are very eventing centric. They have flat rate 4.99 shipping, and a good set of sales around Black Friday.

Big Dee's -
This is a weird site, seeing as they focus on racing/harness racing, but they have a lot of unique items and good deals. I purchased my dressage saddle from their clearance section for 50% off MSRP. They also have several 1680D Ballistic Nylon turnouts for very reasonable prices and a lot of interesting therapies, liniments and other care items. They have free freight and other deals relatively often.

NetEquestrian -
This site is also a bit off the beaten path, but tends to have great clearance sales. I've purchased a lot of blankets from them, and they tend to also have some interesting tack and other items for sale. They ship free over 100$, which is easy to do when they have turnout sheets and other essentials at a great price.

Equestrian Clearance / Equestrian.com -
Ok, so this site is actually in the UK, but they have an awesome weatherbeeta selection and their cheap tack is much nicer than more expensive cheap tack here (odd, but it works). I bought some Kincade items when I was studying abroad in the UK and am very happy with them - they're much higher quality than I was expecting. Shipping to the US is 25$, though speeds may be lacking as I have never ordered from the US. They have lots of fun colored items, attached neck or combo  turn out blankets, a variety of country boot options and some beautiful show coats. Their sales are quite good, especially if the pound is in our favor. Mathing things out, I can get similar deals to the US even with the higher shipping cost, with the added benefit of getting a feature I look for a lot, like the attached neck cover.

Jeffers Pet -
This is another site I've purchased Previcox from, but they do have several horsey areas of interest. They have their own line of blankets from 600 - 1680 denier with nice details (neck covers, snap fronts, etc) along with a good supply of the favorite brands. They also do a "mystery blanket" clearance where you can play the luck lottery and purchase an unknown turnout for a reasonable price, not knowing if you're getting something from Jeffers, Horseware, Weatherbeeta, Centaur, etc. They have good specials, clearance, "dusty deals" and promotions items, and generally run a "deal of the day" around Christmas time.

Amazon -
I know, you know Amazon is a thing. But did you know that they have a lot of horsey stuff, and a lot of it comes via Amazon Prime, if you have it? They have a particularly decent selection of bits, as well as saddle pads, both of which I wasn't expecting. Plus, nearly instant gratification because we have Amazon Prime. I was surprised, maybe you  will be, too?

KV Supply -
Lots of free shipping, and I get a discount from having US Rider here. They also offer KV bucks occasionally, which gave me small discounts on Foxie's bi-monthly order of Previcox (I buy from several retailers online). They occasionally have great deals, generally on items like blankets or horse boots.
